In a recent message you said that many people have high blood pressure. As a solution, you said all of you that have high blood pressure should pray over the Bible for a solution to the problem. If I remember correctly, you challenged us to do so. Knowing how close you are to God, I said to myself that if Dr. Stanley says it will work, there is no way that I would not try this solution. My father had high blood pressure and died an early death from a heart attack. As I am now 54, I began to check and notice I too was getting some higher than normal readings. On account of my father's early death, I started seeing a doctor for help. A single drug has controlled my pressure for some five or six years now. However, at the last check-up (and actually over the last year or so) I noticed that my pressure was once again getting higher than normal. My doctor wanted to place me on an additional medicine. That would mean that I would now have to take two different types of blood pressure medication. I was sure that more drugs weren't going to be good for my body in the long run.

I would like to pass on a note of thanks to Dr. Stanley for helping me come to the Lord. I cannot remember when I have felt so much peace in my life. I went through life feeling lost. One Sunday morning, I was flipping thru the channels on TV and came across In Touch. I can't remember what the title of the message was, but the way Dr. Stanley talked about God's love made me want to experience it for myself. I listen to his teachings, and my love for God just keeps growing! I am waiting to receive my Life Principle's Bible any day now (my wife got it for me for Christmas). I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I have made it my mission to read the Bible everyday, and I have also started to collect food and other items to help the poor.
So in closing, I would like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart, Dr. Stanley—and may the good Lord take a liking to ya!
