As employees of In Touch Ministries, we have the daily and unique God ordained opportunity to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the world via radio, television, satellite, cable TV, short wave, books, our magazine and the Internet.
Our mission is to lead people worldwide into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and to strengthen the local church. Every activity of In Touch must support this mission; and every employee should be experiencing his or her own increased intimacy with, and knowledge of, the Lord.
As our vision states, we at In Touch are proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people in every country of the world. It is our desire to do this as quickly as possible, as clearly as possible, as irresistibly as possible to the glory of God and in the power of the Holy Spirit. Because the ministry has eternal consequences in the lives of others, our personal area of responsibility is of vital importance to the success of our mission and requires that our service be rendered with excellence, enthusiasm, and in harmony with our fellow employees.
In Touch has been privileged to receive enormous blessings from the Lord during its history. None of us can take any personal credit for the ministry on In Touch. Nevertheless, because we are all part of the Body of Christ, each employee of In Touch is key to disseminating God's truth. Each person here, like each part of the Body, is dependent upon the others. As members of the Body at In Touch Ministries, we hold dearly to the following:
Ministry-MindedIn order to be used of God fully in the Ministry, we must continue to grow spiritually by being in the Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers, "so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God" (Colossians 1:10).
IntegrityThe truth is our banner. We recognize the need for strict honesty in our dealings with co-workers, partners, and others."In all things show yourself to be an example of good deeds, with purity in doctrine, dignified, sound in speech which is beyond reproach, so that the opponent will be put to shame, having nothing bad to say about us" (Titus 2:7-8).
HumilityAll credit and acclaim for success is rightly given to God. We duly recognize that this is His work and we are vessels of His power and purpose. "Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves" (Philippians 2:3).
InnovationNothing we do is found in its final stage. We desire to improve, expand and sharpen every communication method, process, and procedure. "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them" (Ephesians 2:10).
ExcellenceThe call of God requires a commitment to high standards. All that we do together must pass this test. "Now, my daughter, do not fear. I will do for you whatever you ask, for all my people in the city know that you are a woman of excellence" (Ruth 3:11).
InitiativeThe responsibility to excel lies on all of us individually. We must be willing to communicate our ideas, dreams, and concerns even at risk of possible professional embarrassment. "You yourselves know the thing which took place throughout all Judea, starting from Galilee, after the baptism which John proclaimed" (Acts 10:37).
AccountabilityJust as in our physical body, our partnership with the Ministry requires interdependence, respect, and inspection to perform our best. "Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God" (Romans 3:19).
