"The last few months I have been completely suicidal. I just wanted to die and attempted do so several times. One day I reached bottom. I tried to take my life ... I was completely intoxicated when they transported me to the hospital as they have done before. But this time I was at the end of my rope I only wanted one thing and that was to die.

After being released from the hospital I remember thinking that now my life is really over, and I had no solution to my problem. But then a miracle occurred. I walked towards a bus stop and there I saw this little book that completely transformed my life. It was the En Contact magazine entitled “Are You Living Life in Reverse?” (January 2007 issue). I immediately grabbed it and began to read it right away. Those words came out of the text addressing me personally and deeply touched my heart. I did not know what was happening to me but I had this feeling of assurance overtaking me.

The moment I return home I went to the Web site www.encontact.org and read many pages and then had the urge to acquire a Bible. I also became convicted to go to church!

My heart was completely transformed. Now I diligently attend my church every Friday night for youth ministry and the regular service every Sunday. I read my Bible every day and I now receive the En Contact magazine by mail every month. My family started to love me again and now we have joy at home once again!!! Two weeks ago I got baptized, glory be to God!

I am happy. I love my drug-free life, and I am truly living life every day. THANK YOU LORD GOD. AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR 'EN CONTACT MINISTRY' AND ALL THOSE WONDERFUL STORIES."
