Will God really meet all my needs?

By Dr. Charles Stanley

Have you ever pondered the real meaning of Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus"? If so, then you may also have encountered some frustration. "What about this need I have had for years?" you wonder. "Doesn’t God care about that aching hole in my heart? Why doesn't He just fill it by meeting my needs automatically?" The truth is, God wants us to trust Him and not look only for the blessing. (Continue reading Will God really meet all my needs?)

Dr Stanley: Last year I suffered a lot of depression. I found myself-turning more and more inward, and becoming so self-concerned about ME. I bought your Life Principals Bible-(I have been a Christian since I was 16 years old and I am now 69. ) I am studying the principals again this year. I cannot believe the difference the Holy Spirit has made in my situation. Nothing is all that depressing when I have so many of God's blessings. I am sure this is just one of many, many thank you's. But please know I thank you and pray for you. Sincerely Earlene Gordon

This makes so much sense. As believers we have a tendency to want to rush. He
works on his schedule not ours

I really do appreciate Dr. Stanley and his wisdom in the Lord. I have been diagnosed with a medical problem and it has been very difficult for me to deal with it. Today I was just checking my e-mails and found the article " God's Purpose in the Storm" . It gave me incentive to go on and let God do his work in me. Thank you Dr. Stanley!!!!!!!!! G. Griffis

My name is sheena benningfield and i am writing from alaska. I am here taking care of a retired Reverend Lee Scaggs. We love watching your sermon and the wounderful messages that you send out to all of us. Lee is 87 years old and has fully given himself to jesus christ for most of his life. Now he depends on his personal care attendent such as myself to continue watching and reading your sermons. Mr. Scaggs appriciates your articles and books because they make a bee line to the truth that is everything in christ. It touches our hearts and above everything is grace and salvation as Mr. scaggs has also given and continued to lead as a example by sharing the word of our father.
    Thanks again,
    Sheena Benningfield

Thank you so much for this topic. At first I'm always struggling with the circumstances that I have encountered, but when I read this article, I became strong and my faith in God increases. Thank you so much. May the Lord richly bless you always.
