It may not be something we like to admit, but as Christians, we may endure persecution for our faith. Perhaps we’ll have to face cyberbullying because of our beliefs. Or maybe we’ll have to stare down the barrel of a gun while a terrorist asks pointed questions about our faith. No matter what the future holds, we can be encouraged to know that God promises to bless those who stand up for Him in the face of opposition (Matt. 5:10).
What will you do when the time comes? Here are four audio messages from Dr. Stanley that share biblical insight into how we can respond to threats:
Despite an ever-present opposition down through the centuries, Christianity is still growing. It cannot be broken, stopped, destroyed, or silenced. Will you be part of its survival or contribute to the attacks against it?

Are you facing persecution? Is there an obstacle in your path that seems insurmountable? Don't give up. You might miss the blessing of watching God remove the problem.
Believers Under Assault
Peter instructed believers so that when persecution came, they’d know how to respond. Learn how the presence of God and His blessing enable us to be confident, enthusiastic, committed, and engaged in the Lord’s work.
Purity and Persecution
Christ suffered, not for doing what was wrong, but for doing what was right. His crucifixion freed us from the power of sin. With this incredible burden lifted, we can now concentrate on following Christ’s will for our lives rather than on our own needs.
We don’t know what we will have to deal with in the days ahead. But the Bible is clear: Difficult times are ahead (2 Tim. 3:1). Thankfully, no matter what happens, we know that nothing “will be able to separate us from the love of God” (Rom 8:39) and our suffering produces “an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison” (2 Cor. 4:7-18).
