PRIVACY POLICY
At In Touch Ministries (“ITM”), our mission is to lead people worldwide into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and to strengthen the local church.
ITM is a Christian ministry, organized as a Georgia non-profit corporation. The success of our mission requires that we daily earn your trust, by doing our utmost to preserve your privacy and the security of your personal information, and by clearly informing you of how we use your information. Thank you for taking the time to review the statements that follow.
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected on our website located at https://www.intouch.org/ (the “website”), as well as personal information collected in or through our stores, Program, missions, or otherwise through any interaction you have with us (the “Services”).
We continuously review our policies, procedures, and systems to make sure that we conform to the highest standards of information security, end-user transparency, and informed consent. This privacy policy may therefore change from time to time as circumstances warrant. When our privacy policy changes, the revised policy will be posted here. THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
PERSONAL INFORMATION
By using the term “personal information” or “personal data” in this Privacy Policy, we mean any information that can be used to directly or indirectly identify a specific individual.
ITM collects personal information when you create an account, request a resource, create a subscription to one of our publications, make a donation, make a purchase, submit a prayer request, or use site links to otherwise communicate with us. This information includes, for example, your first and last names, postal address, telephone number, email address, and other demographic information. For online transactions, we also request your credit card number, expiration date, and may request your Card Security Code [CSC, CVV2, or CCID] number. ITM never stores your credit card information, which constitutes your credit card number, expiration date, and security code. If you request for your credit card information to be saved, ITM keeps a representation of the card that is only meaningful to the payment processor in order to ensure the security and efficiency of any future transaction that you request. Any credit card information that ITM requests is done for the purpose of effectively fulfilling your request.
NETWORK AND USAGE INFORMATION
Our systems automatically collect the IP address of the computer you use to visit our website, and track the number of site visitors and the number of visits to each page and resource on the website. This information cannot be used to identify a specific person.
We may also collect information about how you interact with the Services. This may include information such as the dates and time you visit the Services, the page you view, referring / exit URLS, your browser type, and the domain name of your internet service provider. SMS SUBSCRIPTIONS
In Touch Ministries is offering a mobile messaging program (the “Program”), which you agree to use and participate in subject to the Mobile Messaging Terms and Conditions and this Privacy Policy (the Terms and Privacy Policy are referred to collectively as the “Agreement”). In Touch Ministries respects your privacy. We will only use information you provide through the Program to transmit your mobile messages and respond to you, if necessary. This includes, but is not limited to, sharing information with platform providers, phone companies, and other vendors who assist us in the delivery of mobile messages. WE DO NOT SELL, RENT, LOAN, TRADE, LEASE, OR OTHERWISE TRANSFER FOR PROFIT ANY PHONE NUMBERS OR CUSTOMER INFORMATION COLLECTED THROUGH THE PROGRAM TO ANY THIRD PARTY. Nonetheless, we reserve the right at all times to disclose any information as necessary to satisfy any legal, regulatory or governmental request, to avoid liability, or to protect Our rights or property. When you complete forms online or otherwise provide us information in connection with the Program, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and true information. You agree not to use a false or misleading name or a name that you are not authorized to use. If, in Our sole discretion, we believe that any such information is untrue, inaccurate, or incomplete, or you have opted into the Program for an ulterior purpose, we may refuse you access to the Program and pursue any appropriate legal remedies.
HOW WE USE THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We use personal information primarily to serve your specific needs and fulfill your specific requests, at your personal direction. We may also share your personal information with external service providers who help us better serve you, under strict contractual terms that preserve your privacy and prevent any misuse of your personal information. Examples of such service providers include, but are not limited to, mailing service bureaus that mail materials to you per your request (such as the From the Pastor’s Heart letter, the monthly devotional, and the annual guide) as well as credit card processors. In addition to the uses mentioned or described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, we may add personal information to our database.
We may also use personal information to send you communications regarding our fundraising efforts, and other promotional and marketing material. You have the right to opt-out of these communications if you so choose. To opt-out of email communications, please click the opt-out link located at the bottom of each email. To opt-out of SMS communications, please reply “STOP” to any of our SMS messages.

HOW WE SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION THAT WE COLLECT
We may share personal information with our affiliated entities or third parties, such as trusted service providers, to help provide the Services, deliver our Services, process payments, perform statistical analysis, protect against potential fraud, or perform any other functions consistent with the operation of the Services.
YOUR INFORMATION IS NEVER SOLD, RENTED, OR LEASED
Any personal information you enter into our website and any information you provide to our team members by phone, email, or social media, is kept confidential. In Touch Ministries will not sell, rent, lease, or exchange your information with any other organization, except for those service providers who help us serve you under contract, as described in the preceding section of this policy, or if legally required to do so, such as by law, regulation, court order, subpoena, search warrant, or in response to privacy processes, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of In Touch Ministries or its personnel.
INFORMATION SECURITY AT ITM
ITM is committed to preserving the security of all information in our custody. Our information systems are maintained in physically secured, access-controlled data centers. All data are protected through a multi-layered approach at the network, storage, server, and applications levels, with data access rigorously controlled and limited to trained employees on a need-to-know basis. In addition, we engage external consultants to audit our online systems and test them periodically for all known vulnerabilities.
COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
At our discretion, we may send a small file, commonly called a “cookie,” to your computer. Our Web servers use cookies to recognize you when you visit our site, and potentially to identify which areas or site features you have used. We may use cookies to personalize your online experience at our website. Cookies cannot damage your computer, nor can they read data from your hard drive. A “web beacon”, also known as an Internet tag, pixel tag, or clear GIF, links web pages to web servers and cookies and may be used to transmit information collected through cookies back to a web server. The information that we and our third party service providers may track with cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies may include the type of browser (such as Google Chrome or Internet Explorer) and Internet-connected devices being used to access the Services, your IP address, your home domain or Internet service provider, your referrer URL (the URL for the website that you were viewing prior to visiting the Services), how you were directed to the Services, which specific pages you access on the Services, how long you view each page, the time and date you access our Services, and the total number of visitors to the Services and any portions thereof.
You have the option, through changing your browser settings, of refusing all cookies, or of being notified when a website attempts to send a cookie to your browser. If you choose not to accept cookies, your online experience may be restricted, and some site features may not operate as designed.
GOOGLE ANALYTICS
We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google, together with other analytics services, in order to better understand your use of the Services and how we can improve them. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit a website, what pages you visit when you do so, and what other websites you used prior to coming to such website. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit a website, rather than your name or other directly identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with your personal information. Although Google Analytics plants a persistent cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit a website, the cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. Google Analytics uses its cookie(s) and the information Google Analytics collects to track your online activities over time and across different websites when you use our Services, and other websites. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to the Services are governed by the Google Analytics Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Google may utilize the data collected to track and examine the use of the Services, to prepare reports on its activities, and share them with other Google services. To more fully understand how Google may use the data it collects through the Services, please review “How Google Uses Information From Sites or Apps That Use Our Services” (located here).
SECURE CREDIT CARD PROCESSING
ITM uses Secure Sockets Layer [SSL] technology to securely encrypt data sent during credit card transactions. Credit card numbers entered into our website or provided to a team member over the phone are not retained on our online systems, but are immediately destroyed once passed to our credit card processor. You can be confident that your online transactions with In Touch Ministries are secured to the highest standards set by the credit card processing industry.
HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
